Release notes for Batch Statement Downloader

v1.5.0LatestAugust 7, 2026

Chase downloads rebuilt for accuracy

  • Tax documents, escrow statements, and notices & letters now download alongside statements — listed per account, with no manual tab-clicking
  • Every download is account-scoped, verified against the exact document you selected, and checked to be a real PDF before it's counted as a success
  • Accounts no longer need to be expanded by hand before their statements show up in the list
  • Downloaded status now survives a new login — a statement's identity no longer depends on Chase's session-scoped IDs

New features

  • Per-account grouping — multi-account lists collapse under account headers with new/total counts and a select checkbox per account
  • "New only" filter — hide statements you have already downloaded, and Select All becomes "Select New (n)"
  • Clear downloaded status one statement at a time — hover a downloaded row's checkmark to mark just that statement available again, without wiping your whole history
  • Account number in the default filename template — {accountLast4} keeps the same month from two different accounts from colliding (no more Chrome "(1)", "(2)" suffixes). Saved templates you have not customized are upgraded automatically, and single-account filenames stay as they were
  • Request a bank — on a site the extension does not support yet, the popup offers a one-click "Request support for this site" button. It sends only that site's hostname, so demand decides which banks get added next

Bug fixes

  • Chase multi-account batches could silently save the wrong account's statement, or duplicates, while reporting success — the rewrite eliminates this structurally
  • Fidelity statements were no longer detected after Fidelity moved the Statements view into their document center with new markup and a new download flow. Both are now supported (Account Records and Trade Confirmations were unaffected)
  • Fidelity "Download all" with more than one account downloaded the first account's statements, then re-downloaded them again for every other account
  • Fidelity Crypto statements now honor your filename template and no longer report a false failure. They download as in-page files with no server URL, which the extension now handles directly
  • Amex batch downloads stopped after the first file — Amex's new "Select File Type" dialog changed its confirm control, so the extension now picks PDF explicitly and waits for the dialog to close between statements
  • The popup could hang on "Downloading…" if the bank page navigated away mid-batch (for example, signing out). A watchdog now ends the stalled batch and reports the remaining items as failed

After you update

  • Chase and Fidelity statements are identified more precisely now, so a small number of statements you already downloaded may appear as new one time. Your download history and stats are unchanged
